The carnivore diet is a type of diet that primarily consists of animal products, such as meat, fish, and animal-derived products like eggs and dairy. Followers of the carnivore diet typically avoid plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and legumes. The diet is based on the belief that humans evolved to eat primarily meat and animal products and that this is the most natural and optimal way to fuel the body. This diet is how our hunter gatherer ancestors ate before the agricultural revolution. After doing an extensive research let’s say that it’s a more strict version of the Keto Diet.

My take on the Carnivore Diet!

I like this diet it’s superb for a quick weightloss journey. But even doing my nutrition clinical training we never suggested the carnivore diet to our morbidly obese patients or overweight patients. The most suggested diet was reduction in empty calories from processed carbohydrates. Most suggested diet was the keto diet but on a relaxed level to increase high fibrous foods and to pair with lean proteins. The main focus was pairing more antioxidants plants with lean proteins for every meal.

The Carnivore Diet isn’t sustainable long term because the human body feeds on different gut microbes and these gut microbes need certain plant based high fiber nutrient dense foods. The Carnivore high protein intake isn’t sustainable economic wise as its expensive to eat high quality meat products every meal. Some people don’t have access to high quality protein sources that was eaten by our hunter gatherers ancestors.

So please consult With your doctor for any dietary changes. So many people choose to take their health in their own hands due to lack of trust in the medical system. So many people struggling with weight issues. For short term quick weight loss the Carnivore Diet is the best, anyone struggling with sugar craving the carnivore diet is your solution. If you choose the Carnivore diet make sure to write abnormal symptoms and share it with Your doctor.

Hunter Gatherer diet(Carnivore Diet) is a debated topic some doctors suggesting that the Carnivore diet is the reason why our ancestors died young. But those times is way different, diet only didn’t cause early death but it was an extremely dangerous period to be alive the risk from dying from a cut was more common or being hunted by an animal predator.

Modern times and the Carnivore Diet: We live in a time whereby we are advanced in medicine and medical procedures, but we are way sicker than our hunter gatherer ancestors. We live in a time where most human beings eat packaged or processed foods so maybe this diet needs to make a comeback to eliminate the sugar addiction that has been forced on all of us. Every food in the supermarket has some type of sugar why does chicken tikka masala contain 20gr of sugar per serving Why! why! surely its supposed to be a high protein meal why!!.

Lets focus on natural foods rather than man made highly processed foods that make you sicker in the longterm
